How we build the index
- Prices come from restaurants' own websites, menus and menu photos.
- No delivery-app prices. When we checked, DoorDash ran 0 to 15% higher, most often about 10%.
- Like with like: plates per plate, wraps per wrap, lahmacun and baklava per piece.
- Chef-driven, neighborhood and quick spots each get their own median.
- A price shows only when 3 or more places list it.
- Updated monthly.
